Summer Dance 2025

4TH STREET DANCE CENTRE SUMMER 2025

4SDC encourages dancers to continue their dance training throughout the summer. In addition to our competition team’s requirement classes, we offer a variety of classes and private lessons (including tumbling) to meet each dancer’s specific needs. Summer dance sessions are open to all dancers of all levels. We challenge the dancers in our summer program. Classes are taught at the intermediate to advanced level. Beginner dancers are supported and given optional steps for their routines.

All dancers interested in auditioning for the 2025-2026 competition teams need to attend boot camp and one summer dance session including tap, jazz and ballet to fulfill audition requirements.
*Dancers will learn their audition pieces during summer dance sessions.
>Dancers in GRADES 2-5 auditioning for a competition team must also attend one hip hop session
>Dancers in GRADES 4-5 who want to JUST do hip hop OR in Grade 6-12 who wish to be a part of a hip-hop crew in addition to their competition team will need to attend one session of hip-hop class and attend one of the audition dates

3-day Boot Camp | June 9-11 | Cost $200/dancer

We are excited to offer Boot camp as a “Mini Convention” with ALL guest instructors!

Scholarships will be awarded by some instructors for camps, classes and conventions.
Dancers from other studios are welcome to attend.
Invite a friend (new to 4SDC) and save $40 if they register for Boot Camp
Kindergarten dancers currently on the Rising Stars team are welcome too!
Classes each day will run as follows:
9:00-10:00am = Class —> 10:05-11:05am = Class 
11:05-11:20 SNACK BREAK
11:20-12:20pm = Class —> 12:20-1:20pm = Class

SUMMER SESSION DATES AND FEES

Summer Session #1 (7 days) = July 7-10 and July 14-16                Auditions Thursday July 17th
Summer Session #2 (7 days) = July 21-24 and July 28-30              Auditions Thursday July 31st
Session fees: $115/45min class  $148/60min class
Classes each day will run as follows:
9:00-10:00am = Class —> 10:05-11:05am = Class 
11:05-11:20 SNACK BREAK
11:20-12:20pm = Class —> 12:20-1:20pm = Class
Summer dance sessions: Select classes based on grade level for the fall of 2025
*Dancers may separate their sessions to accommodate family schedules and complete required classes
Auditions take place on Thursday July 17th and Thursday July 31st
There will be a $10 fee for both competition team auditions and hip-hop auditions for grades 4-12

8:30-9:30am – Advanced level skills assessment for Advanced small group class (no fee) Grade 9-12

Competition Teams for our youngest dancers:

For Dancers in Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade, we offer two competition teams. 

  • Our “MINI STARS” team is for preschool dancers with one year of dance experience.

  • Our “RISING STARS” team is for kindergarten and 1st graders.

There are no auditions required for either of these teams, but summer sessions will help with placement for dancers in the fall. 4SDC instructors will assess each dancer’s readiness for these teams within the first month of classes.

DANCER REQUIREMENTS AFTER AUDITIONS

HIP HOP CREWS:
Dancers placed on Hip Hop Crews will be required to attend a three-day intensive

August 18 – 20 / Cost: $75

COMPETITION TEAMS:
Dancers placed on a dance team will be required to attend a three-day intensive

Summer Stretch + Strength Classes | $20/class | Please Pre-Register!
Tuesday + Thursdays July 8- July 29th (No Class Thursday July 17th)
10:00-11:00am Grades 4-8
